Description:

The psychological work in the service is likely to involve a range of psychological interventions, as detailed in Matrics Plant,including direct work with children and families, indirect work, consultation to MDT and the broader network of staff, team formulation, training and an element of staff support such as reflective practice and facilitating psychological debriefs. The MDT will consist of psychology, paediatrics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and dietetics but will also form links with colleagues in education and social services. As this is a new service office and clinic space has yet to be identified but is likely to be in one of the acute hospitals in Swansea Bay (Morriston, NPTH or Singleton). The MDT will be have admin support and there is a budget identified for resources and CPD.
