Our client has secured a significant contract for the delivery of key technology to support the Boliden Odda Zinc Smelter Expansion project in western Norway. This expansion, known as “Green Zinc Odda,” is part of Boliden Odda’s ambitious plan to increase its annual zinc metal production capacity from 200,000 to 350,000 tonnes, while also producing various valuable by-products. Notably, the project prioritizes sustainable practices by relying on fossil-free energy sources.

• The project is scheduled to start in July 2024 and will run for at least 7+ months (with the option to extend).
• Contract type: fixed-term employment or freelance project.
• The position requires a commitment of 57 hours per week.
• Home leaves will be provided on 4 weeks on / 1 week off schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

• A diploma/degree in a relevant discipline or an Industrial Engineering degree.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in EPC projects or an engineering degree.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Completions.
• Preferred experience in Construction, Field Engineering, or Pre-commissioning, including the ability to conduct field inspections.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in data entry, databases, and standard MS Office software.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Turnover Coordinator to join our dynamic project team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient turnover of systems from construction to operation.

• Develop turnover packages according to the defined system/sub-system breakdown.
• Track and manage pending issues and actions impacting system turnover.
• Coordinate and participate in system walkdowns, emphasizing the urgency of meeting commitments to Construction, Field Engineering, and Pre-Commissioning teams.
• Review and interpret engineering design drawings and system scope drawings, translating them into system tag lists.
• Identify document requirements for engineered tags and review field-generated inspection records for quality and completeness.
• Log field-generated inspection records into completions management software for effective tracking and reporting.
• Review field-generated punch list items for quality and completeness and manage their progress in the Unifier database.
• Coordinate the delivery of completions from Implementation Contractors to Turnover.
• Support the implementation of records retention and turnover plans.
• Communicate effectively with project team members, the client, and field personnel to maintain quality and adhere to the system turnover schedule.
