Description:
Some of the problems we solve daily include how to feed the various departments we support as easily and quickly as possible. Pre-Production is the heart of the organization funneling millions of parts to their designated location, and anticipating needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the condition of arriving or departing fabricated parts as a means of ensuring quality and quantity
- Organizing, maintaining, and refilling parts when low
- Creating labels indicating fixture parts through the in-house system
- Communicating with all departments to deliver specific parts of high importance
- Using production sheets to organize the correct part through to production
- Retrieving stock parts and compiling trays based on a weekly production queue
- Delivering trays to in-house finishing department daily
- Coordination of outsourced finish applications
- Updating the production system’s current status
- Active monitoring of inventory stock (manual checks and inventory app)
- Notifying Procurement of low stock and discrepancies
- Generating warehouse pickup list
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field of study, while not required will be especially useful as this a position with opportunity for growth.
Experience with a variety of software; Microsoft Excel, Word, Autodesk Fusion or CAD via Solid Works is a plus
