Job Description:

JOB TITLE:

We are currently seeking candidate for the position of Systems Engineer for France.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to perform pre-sales activities. This position provides technical expertise to Sales Account Executives. As a successful candidate, you will design solutions and proposals to meet customer-defined specifications, help customers define solution specifications, provide POC, and benchmark support. You will be engaged in providing installation and training to customers on DDN solutions when required. You will have great presentation skills and knowledge of the storage industry would be ideal. This role requires travel.
You will have need relevant technical System Engineering experience in pre-sale or a closely related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Work with Sales Executives to closing new business opportunities by gaining a thorough technical and business understanding of our customers’ needs;
• Help sales qualify, identify, close new opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle and beyond;
• Understand the internal DDN sales process and how to utilize the company resources to close business;
• Participate in customer-focused seminars, tradeshows, events, and training;
• Provide RFP responses, technical drawings, presentations, and recommendations;
• Acquire and maintain a thorough technical understanding of like industries;
• Develop innovative solutions to customers’ business needs;
• Proving regular status reports;
• Helping to develop and enhance products, processes and procedures;
• Work as part of an international team, providing support across other areas as may be required by the business from time to time.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE ARE:

• Knowledge of the storage industry and its key solutions; Parallel File Systems, Storage Solutions, RAID, SAN, NAS, InfiniBand technologies
• Basic understanding of scripting languages such as Python or Bash;
• Good understanding of Linux operating system
• Fluent in French and professional English
