Description:

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, programming, mathematics, engineering, business or a related field is required.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a related role.
  • Advanced SAP experience required.
  • Advanced DAX, SQL, M language experience required.
  • Experience with Python an asset.
  • Experience with MRP functionalities, including forecasting, planning and purchasing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines to meet regular and periodic business needs.
  • Ability to lead an audience to the proper conclusions or decisions relevant to the situation.
  • Expert analytical capabilities including advanced knowledge of Excel and demonstrated competence with data structures/SQL, statistical functions, linear programming, and process simulation techniques.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including knowledge of operations tools and concepts such as DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing, and the Theory of Constraints.
  • Broad understanding of the CPG industry, and the ability to judge what considerations (cost, service levels, lead times, etc.) are most important within those contexts.
  • Green Belt an asset.
  • APICS certification an asset.à

Responsibilities:

  • Manages implementation projects for new processes or process reengineering, including the development of reports to support these processes, the definition of roles and responsibilities, the implementation of RACI, the creation of training documents, user change management and implementation monitoring.
  • Develops unique data sources that will serve as the starting point for reports. The analyst will be responsible for creating user stories, concept proofs, tests, etc. in the various development systems such as quality, regression and production; he/she will also coordinate follow-ups with the CA and US IT teams.
  • Documents projects and track tasks in JIRA; assists with SCRUMs, provide updates on project progress.
  • Creates reports in Excel, Tableau and PowerBI, using Power tools from Microsoft and using DAX, SQL, M and other appropriate programming languages.
  • Develops and maintain the Supply Chain Dashboard and recommend initiatives to address deviation to plan.
  • Maintains consistent contact with Planning, Production, Marketing, Sales, Logistics and Demand Planning to identify and resolve issues affecting the achievement of Supply Chain key metrics.
  • Supports decision-making and improvement of critical processes, including long-term inventory planning, coverage (weeks of supply) and obsolescence.
  • Promotes a continuous improvement mindset within the supply chain organization, in particular by analyzing the current process and implementing new forecasting methodologies.
  • Maps and documents standard operating processes as they relate to Supply Planning.
  • Responsible for the effective communication of month-end results to company stakeholders through oral, written or formal presentation.
