DESCRIPTION

The Specialist-Central Refill Services 1 is a clinical position that assists in all aspects of processing prescription refill authorization requests. Under the supervision of pharmacy services and working within established protocols, the Central Refill Services Specialist 1 acts as an agent for the provider to authorize prescription refills. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing patients with exceptional customer service and serving as the liaison between patients, physicians and pharmacies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board upon hire. Or,
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician - National Healthcareer Association upon hire.
  • 3 years - as a Pharmacy Technician.
