Ohshima Ireland is currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator/Setter to join our team based in our facility in Shannon, Co. Clare.
This organisation has worldwide expertise but also a local presence within our specialized field. This will be a key role in the company and requires someone coming from a fast-paced multi-national company background.

Job Description

Providing leadership and guidance to the team
Coordinating daily activities to ensure efficient production operations
Training and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance
Monitoring and managing workflow to meet production targets and deadlines
Collaborating with other departments to address any production issues or concerns
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations
Reporting to upper management on team performance, production metrics, and any challenges faced
In addition to the team lead responsibilities, the key responsibilities for Press Brake Operators/Setters include:
Competently setting up and operating various models of Press Brake machines
Producing machined parts using Press Brake Machines
Assembling goods on production lines
Carrying out basic quality and testing checks
Packing goods for shipping
Maintaining a clean and tidy work area, including equipment and storage
Performing preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshooting malfunctions
Participating in training and educational opportunities
Supporting and maintaining quality standards and initiatives
