ESSENCE OF THE POSITION

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accounts associated with trading and the shipment of goods (import or export) for assigned clients, according to various modes of transportation. Creating and obtaining market rates, approval of orders, organize incoming data and managing invoices.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Proving competitive rates, issuing quotes according to the customer’s requirements, booking requests, building client relationships, and negotiating.
• Present rates and market information to customers and maintaining internal knowledge.
• Willingness to improve products and services.
• Source, manage and communicate with vendor partners for logistics solutions.
• Pricing negotiations with external carriers
• First point of contact for any discrepancies, as well an avid partner in escalations
• Improve and advise on a going basis the internal systems and procedures to increase efficiency transparency and costing accuracy.
• Work with sales operations and customer service to ensure propre and adequate transitions of new and existing business.
• Other tasks and duties as may be assigned support booking and handling operations shipment as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• College level diploma
• 1-3 years of experience
• Knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
• Knowledge of freight forwarding
• Bilingual – French and English
