Description:

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of predictive modelling techniques including GLM and GBM and / or ML techniques.
  • Experience using Emblem or Radar software and having built/developed Radar models.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Personal Lines Insurance markets.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: SAS, SQL, Python, R.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is an exciting new opportunity to join the company’s rapidly growing personal lines underwriting team. You will be able to progress in a fast-growing company and drive strategy from pricing models.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

  • Carrying out continual improvements on pricing analysis methodology and practices to improve the companies pricing capabilities.
  • Analysing and monitoring loss ratios, performance metrics, and rate strength, as well as other account performances.
  • Carrying out pricing analysis, through predictive risk, residual modeling, and developing pricing recommendations.
  • Assessing the affect of rate change impacts through predictions through to post-deployment review.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. You will act as a pricing and performance representative on your specific product lines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams.
