Is this the role for you?
Reporting to the Strategic Pricing Manager, this role is responsible for Pricing analytics, management and solution development support across various Line of Business at Ricoh Australia.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies defined by senior management across products and services.
  • Build and manage financial models to assess customer, contract and product/service profitability.
  • Support the bid team by leading the pricing solution and financial analysis in accordance with the bid strategy and planning
  • Provide recommendations to implement price changes to existing customers
  • Develop pricing, discounting and promotional approaches for new and existing product and services
  • Develop appropriate pricing scenarios/options by analysing variables, challenging assumptions and assessing risks
  • Understand cost structures, analysing variable and fixed costs, projecting sales volumes, and estimating potential revenue.
  • Conduct post and mid contract customer profitability analysis
  • Commercial construction and development to supports all Ricoh Solutions with a focus on repeatable service solutions.
  • Construct deals in accordance with pricing strategies that support the growth of the business
  • Lead the implementation of pricing decisions in systems, tools and contract by working collaboratively across the business
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management on pricing performance, market trends, pricing benchmarks, and potential opportunities and strategic recommendations

To be successful in this role:

Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of pricing/commercial analytical experience and other aligned roles within a product or service provider environment.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills demonstrated in pricing and commercial environments
  • Comfortable working in scenarios where ambiguity and uncertainty of information exists
  • The desire to approach problems with a ‘can-do’ and solution-oriented attitude
  • Proven experience in a range of commercial management, commercial operation and commercial solution development functions.
  • Proven experience managing and building long term internal and external customer relationships
  • Ability to present to the business and technical audiences, including creative presentation and delivery skills
  • Effective negotiation and problem resolution skills to achieve win/win situations
  • Understanding of industry-based concepts and commercial constructs, opex, capex and financed delivery models
  • Work autonomously and self-manage
