We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our HSBC Amanah team in the role of Primary Banker, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM qualification with 5 credits
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, training will be provided
  • Relevant licensing in marketing wealth products such as PCE/TBE/CEILLI/FIMM would be an added advantage.
  • Good track record and knowledge of personal banking products i.e. Bancassurance, credit card, personal loan, fixed deposit;
  • Strong interest in building relationships and providing financial solutions to customers
  • Good inter-personal and communication capability
  • Driven for success and eager to learn, grow, and thriv

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for HSBC MYH, delivering an exceptional customer experience through identifying and fulfilling all customer needs at first point of contact (Meeter and Greeter role)
  • Demonstrate sound understanding of the bank’s products and services to provide “point of meet” solutions using tablets and technology to resolve more digital and technology related solutions to customer’s needs
  • Promote and deliver our digital channel and Life Sign Technology to NTB or ETB customers. Sharing digital know-how to customers to create awareness and increase the adoption rate and usage that is convenient to customers therefore they can bank with us from anywhere at anytime
  • Effectively question and listen to your customers to enable you to fully understand both new & existing customer’s financial circumstances and needs
  • Operate within a customer facing capacity in branch, generating revenue growth by meeting and exceeding customer needs; maximizing opportunities across all retail customer segments by selling retail products and insurance
  • Proactively drive wealth referrals especially investment needs to Premier colleagues
  • Collaborates effectively with colleagues (PB1), stakeholders and specialists given customers the benefit of best banking solutions and specialist advice by proactively providing customers the preferred solution in the market
  • Be a role model to peers and demonstrate customer engagement DNA by taking ownership to serve customers
  • Ensure attends all training programmed designed for UB to continuously harness skills and knowledge and be competent when talking to customers and stake holders
  • Be proactive in building & developing a customer base and pipelines through the use of Customer Contact Lists, referrals and walk-ins
  • Proactively update accurate customer information in the bank system for KYC / AML and other banks use later.
  • Objectives achieved in accordance with all Compliance, Audit, SOX and other regulatory requirements met at all times to ensure no reputation, monetary and operational losses.
