Description:

Looking for a new challenge and want to start making a real difference to health and care services in Wales. Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) family are part of NHS Wales and have an important role in changing the way health and care services are delivered in Wales. The organisation supports our stakeholders with modern systems and access to important information about their patients, while empowering the people of Wales to manage their own health through digital NHS Wales services.
You will be providing support and best practice across a broad range of digital products and services to Primary Care Stakeholders including Optometrists. You will also be providing advice and signposting of existing products and services. The post holder will also support the implementation of new products and services using a range of coaching and mentoring techniques to enable Primary Care Stakeholders to utilise digital services efficiently and effectively. Establish and maintain effective two way written and verbal communication with Stakeholders including Optometrists as directed by Line Manager. Discuss with Stakeholders their existing and future IT business needs, agree and proactively manage. Liaise with internal DHCW colleagues informally or in meetings as appropriate. Monitor service requests and act as an escalation point for Stakeholder issues, liaising with DHCW teams, Health Boards and Suppliers, as necessary. Updating Stakeholders on new developments, system changes, service information etc to include presentations, 1:1 virtual and onsite meetings. Represent DHCW and Primary Care as requested at local and national events. Provide advice and guidance to Primary Care Stakeholders in accordance with national procedures and guidelines virtually or onsite. Responsible for providing and receiving information in relation to products/services projects and workstreams that will need to be interpreted and communicated to team members. Liaising with Product Support Managers, internal DHCW colleagues as required. Support the design and delivery of presentations to Stakeholder audiences. Attend any meetings, with Stakeholders and DHCW colleagues ensuring any planning and preparation is complete before the meeting.

Work within the Standard Operating Procedures ensuring product objectives are met. To provide regular reports to Stakeholders including Optometrists on the progress and effectiveness of the IT services provided. Provides feedback on new processes and procedures. To contribute to the development of project plans. To organise pilots to test and evaluate . D evelop and deliver training and advise on changes to p rocesses. To contribute to the implementation of national or local initiatives. To contribute and provide regular reports to colleagues and Stakeholders on progress against agreed plans. To produce evaluation reports with recommendations which will influence the development of solutions. Responsible for the preparation and drafting of reports . Maintain appropriate registers , information systems and implementation plans. Provide coaching to Stakeholders on the products and services . Responsible for achieving product/services objectives by undertaking specific activities. To support the Product Support Managers ensuring that appropriate governance and assurance has been completed . Contribute to the development and delivery of a National Training Plan for Stakeholders, applying lessons learnt on future training ensuring that all training is evaluated. The postholder will manage their own detailed priorities , a ttend Project Meetings when requested and b e able to travel across sites in Wales
