Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher for Muna British Academy, Abu Dhabi commencing in the academic year, 2024-25.
Muna British Academy is in the heart of the city of Abu Dhabi and was recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by ADEK - Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) Serving over 700 students from Nursery – Year 6 we follow the National Curriculum of England.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or post teaching qualification (PGCE or similar in Primary).
• Minimum Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience teaching the England National curriculum (ENC). NQTs/fresh graduates with relevant education qualifications in primary are also welcome to apply.

• Experience working with students whom English is not their first language (EAL) students.
• Mandatory experience teaching the England National Curriculum.

• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life.

• To be able to prioritize workload and multitask.
• IT Literate and familiar with online technologies to aid in 21st century teaching.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with parents in a diverse multi-cultural environment.

BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT AND DUTIES:

WIDER PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To work as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment, resources, and special events linked to the team.
• Support in organizing and taking part in school events, outings and extra-curricular activities (ECAs).
• Communicate effectively with parents/carers with regards to student’s achievements and well-being using school systems/processes as appropriate.
• Run a weekly ECA each term.
• Take initiative of own professional development to secure high quality teaching and for successful execution of roles and responsibilities.
