Primary Teacher

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Previous experience teaching primary students.
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles, pedagogy, and best practices in primary education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and motivate students through varied instructional strategies and activities.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of primary students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and instructional materials that align with educational standards and learning objectives.
• Assess student progress and performance through a variety of formative and summative assessments, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate individual learning styles, abilities, and interests, and provide additional support or enrichment as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with students, parents, colleagues, and school administrators to support student learning and well-being.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate curriculum, instruction, and student activities across grade levels and subject areas.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on best practices, and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
• Uphold school policies and procedures regarding classroom management, discipline, and student behavior, and promote a positive and respectful school culture.
• Serve as a role model and mentor for students, promoting a love of learning, critical thinking skills, and lifelong learning habits.
