Description:

Your roleProvide high level strategic advice around the NIISQ Agency’s research program including opportunities for continuous improvement and develop the NIISQ Agency’s research approach, framework, and policy in alignment with the organisations’ strategic direction from the CEO and executive team.Lead the development, coordination, and implementation of the NIISQ Agency’s research program and operations ensuring ongoing compliance with audit requirements, value for money and benefits to NIISQ participants, the Scheme and/ or the Agency.Identify, evaluate, and prioritise research, education and program project opportunities and contribute to research project design in alignment with policy and frameworks, and make recommendations for decision makers.Engage with potential research and education partners to identify research opportunities, lead conversations with successful research recipients to facilitate relevant and impactful project designs, and establish the terms and conditions of funding including the development of meaningful and robust key performance indicators (KPIs).Represent the NIISQ Agency as required at relevant research related forums, working parties and project governance committees.Monitor and manage the progress of research projects, including compliance with contractual obligations and provide progress reports to senior management and executive outlining performance, expenditure, issues, risks, and associated management strategies.Collaborate with the NIISQ Agency Innovation Team, the MAIC research function and the Project Management Office to ensure research and innovation projects are scoped, prioritised, and resourced in alignment with the organisation’s project roadmap.About youTo be successful in this role you will demonstrate a strong commitment to shared values, and a broad skillset that includes:
