- Full-time, Fixed Term position until December 2024
- Salary HEW 10A ($139,262) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University
About the Role
The Principal Advisor, Learning & Teaching is responsible for the leadership and management of the College team of Senior Specialists, Learning and Teaching. Working closely with the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Learning and Teaching Quality, you will be responsible for the provision of strategic and academic leadership and management of the College Learning and Teaching (L&T) area, consistent with the University and College strategic plans and objectives. You will be accountable for the provision of quality academic development leadership, advice and support to enable the delivery of high-quality academic programs and quality student experience.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
- Strong leadership skills and experience in initiating, leading and managing professional teams and projects in a collegiate Higher Education environment to deliver strategic objectives
- High level learning and teaching, quality and academic development expertise, and a commitment to learning and teaching improvement and innovation
- Demonstrated understanding of academic management and good governance in a University context, including knowledge of tertiary regulatory and quality frameworks, including AQF and TEQSA
