NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience in a Principal Advisor Role (e.g. public health, public policy).
  • Able to build constructive relationships, and as a Principal Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and partnerships both within our organisation and with external stakeholders
  • Ability to draw on extensive specialised work experience typically supported with professional qualifications
  • Experience in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice, particularly in leading complex or contentious policy work.
  • Leadership experience, including designing and managing a portfolio of work, and resources
  • Experience in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice, particularly in leading complex or contentious policy work
  • Significant experience working in central government and a thorough understanding of the machinery of Government
