NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A tertiary qualification, and/or a minimum of eight to ten years’ appropriate equivalent experience
• Experience in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice, particularly in leading complex and multi faceted work
• Demonstrated experience, in designing comprehensive health promotion prgrammes and projects
• A preference for experience in working across multi-disciplinary teams
• An understanding of and ability to select, adapt and use a range of frameworks, principles, tools and methods and draw on experience in different areas of expertise to apply them appropriately to given challenges
• Experience in applying Te Tiriti analysis in addition to an equity lens to programme design
• Health sector and/or government experience and knowledge of government structures and processes is not a requirement but would be beneficial
