ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations we are looking for a Senior/Principal Wastewater Modellers to provide technical leadership and delivery of wastewater network projects for our water utility clients. You will be implementing industry leading solutions and encouraged to develop innovative solutions.
You will provide management and technical leadership to a team of modellers delivering wastewater network projects, within agreed timeframes and budgets to exceed client’s expectations. Modelling will include building, verifying, calibrating and maintaining network models and using network models for planning, operational and design purposes. Alongside this the delivery of technical reports and management of the check and review process.
You will be able to manage multi office modelling delivery teams across the UK & Ireland and provide guidance and mentoring to our overseas based teams.
Here’s what you’ll need:

With your excellent knowledge in the water industry with a focus on wastewater network solutions, we need:

  • Proficiency in wastewater modelling software such as InfoNet, and InfoWorks CS / ICM, ArcGIS, MapInfo with expertise in 1D and 2D modelling
  • Excellent technical ability in the outline design of wastewater schemes; sewage pumping systems and treatment facilities, ensuring project financial and schedule performance.
  • Excellent knowledge in current industry best practice and able to actively contribute to innovation in this field of expertise.
  • Experience of liaising with Clients and managing projects
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar and a Chartered Member of a professional body.
