Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, or Science
  • At least 5 years of experience designing, managing, and improving processes
  • At least 1 year experience working in a cross-functional environment, ensuring stakeholder expectations are managed effectively
  • Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma tools & methodology
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn, and aim to get things done
  • Resilient and resourcefu

Responsibilities:

  • Build the framework and controls to facilitate early detection and mitigation of key risks in production release cycles. This is achieved by focusing on the following:
  • Identify and align to enterprise requirements
  • Define and standardize responsibilities and accountabilities of stakeholders
  • Collaborate with software delivery teams to define and improve the process to manage production releases
  • Develop critical to quality metrics, structures and processes to monitor and manage the performance
  • Collaborating with software and product communities to define, design and manage Canada software hierarchy and critical business processes
  • Drive improvements in software development processes
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify automation opportunities
  • Provide mentorship to junior members of the process team and the software development community
  • Act as change agent to drive and embed continuous improvement mindset in software delivery teams
