Description:
BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH EHEALTH QUEENSLAND:
eHealth Queensland is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state. It is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of information systems and technologies so that Queensland Health employees and health providers have access to information that supports the delivery of health care.
By joining eHealth Queensland, you will work within a fast-paced, challenging, and supportive environment where every employee plays a critical role in our ongoing success.
Responsibilities:
As a Principal Business Analyst, you will be responsible for engaging and communicating effectively with stakeholders at every level (Director, Data Manager, Team Lead, Clinicians, and end users) when required to make sure a complete implicit understanding of the business is known.
To be successful in this role you will proactively encourage critical discussions with the right stakeholders in order to fully comprehend the important aspects of the client’s needs and making sure all facets are examined from all angles. This will be important for interpreting and translating technical possibilities into clinical suitability.
You will also be responsible for capturing and analysing ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ business processes models and capturing the business requirements to ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. You will ensure requirements are captured and addressed in the transition of the service from Project to business-as-usual whilst providing business analysis functions at the Program level, as and when required.
Additionally, you will contribute to an effective customer focused team and work collaboratively to initiate, influence, and maintain relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders.
Is this opportunity for you?
To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated experience leading and managing business analysis activities within IM/ICT projects, preferably in the health care industry.
You will also have proven experience leading business process modelling activities for large organisations, preferably using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN). A high level of knowledge of and the ability to provide advice on the application of appropriate business analysis
techniques, methodologies, and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Version 3.0 (BABOK) is essential.
You will have the proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders including mentoring other business analysts within the organisation. Proven effective consultation, facilitation, written and oral communication skills for use in a project environment are essential.
ICT Infrastructure experience in a health setting and applications integration experience is preferred.
