QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A PhD (or equivalent research experience) in any specialist area of medicine, health economics, statistics & data analytics or related subjects.
  • At least 3 years post-qualification experience in digital health and telemedicine research.
  • An in-depth understanding of platform technologies and their capabilities to deliver technology-enhanced services
  • Proven experience researching platform technologies for healthcare & telemedicine interventions and services
  • Interest and experience in carrying out research, evaluation and report writing using quantitative and qualitative designs and methods
  • Proven ability to perform statistical analyses and interpret complex data
  • Prior experience working with large datasets and evidence of peer-reviewed publications
  • Ambition and want to make market-leading digital healthcare more accessible
  • Strong organizational skills, able to work with initiative and shift focus according to priority in a busy work environment.
  • Great communication, demonstrating both verbal and written skills, who can work collaboratively with a diverse team of scientists.

Responsibilities:

  • To marshal the evidentiary tools and practices necessary to report on clinical, economic, value-based, and business impacts and outcomes for our customers and internally across our telemedicine solutions
  • Support the design of solution and enterprise-level impact, value and outcomes endpoints to further the business mission
  • Interface with customers to assist in the identification and development of endpoints reporting for success across solutions
  • Work cross-collaboratively with other teams, upskilling and learning from various areas including development, design, sales, business intelligence and marketing, to ensure research and clinical data insights are applied across the company.
  • Conduct high-quality research that supports Amwell’s aim to lead the future of telemedicine and virtual healthcare delivery.
  • Be part of a team of thought leaders in digital healthcare & telemedicine committed to providing evidence-based solutions for better care.
  • Have the opportunity to publish your work and disseminate findings via customer-facing reports, infographics, conferences, white papers, etc.
