  $170,000 - $220,000 a year
  The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question, which is based on market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, depth of relevant experience, and other relevant factors. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Develop PCBA requirements in collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
• Design of optical comms related circuits including laser drivers and receivers, power supplies, TIAs, instrumentation, filters, high speed DACs/ADCs, digital processors and interfaces, simulations, etc
• Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
• Circuit analysis including power, tolerance, and reliability related.
• PCBA design verification testing and system integration testing.
• Production manufacturing support as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in opto-electrical circuit design, analysis, simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing.
• Design proficiency with TOSAs, ROSAs, fiber optics, power supplies, TIAs, instrumentation, filters, high speed DACs/ADCs, digital processors and interfaces, simulations, etc
• Proficiency with schematic capture and layout of complex PCBs.
• Proficiency performing circuit analyses in signal integrity tools, SPICE, and Excel.
• Proficiency with electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering iron, etc.
• Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment.
