$170,000 - $220,000 a year

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Develop PCBA requirements in collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
- Design of optical comms related circuits including laser drivers and receivers, power supplies, TIAs, instrumentation, filters, high speed DACs/ADCs, digital processors and interfaces, simulations, etc
- Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
- Circuit analysis including power, tolerance, and reliability related.
- PCBA design verification testing and system integration testing.
- Production manufacturing support as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of experience in opto-electrical circuit design, analysis, simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing.
- Design proficiency with TOSAs, ROSAs, fiber optics, power supplies, TIAs, instrumentation, filters, high speed DACs/ADCs, digital processors and interfaces, simulations, etc
- Proficiency with schematic capture and layout of complex PCBs.
- Proficiency performing circuit analyses in signal integrity tools, SPICE, and Excel.
- Proficiency with electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering iron, etc.
- Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment.
