YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential:

• Degree qualified in a STEM subject, or equivalent experience within Engineering
• Exposure within the Nuclear industry and ionizing radiation
• Working and leading multi discipline areas
• Engineering experience with systems

Desirable:

• Understanding of asset management principles

• Overseeing the engineering governance and assurance over Radiological and Environmental infrastructure and equipment
• Responsible Engineer for systems such as Radiological calibration and detection, radiography enclosures, or effluent management.
• Delivering Site Asset Management Processes to ensure a fit for purpose asset base across the site
• Producing and validating engineering assessments to ensure equipment is able to achieve its required safety function
• Responding to emerging engineering issues and delivering a solution
• Managing configuration baseline, ensuring an effective maintenance strategy and carrying out engineering health assessments
