Principal Engineer - Part Time

National Highways have an exciting opportunity for a part time (3 days a week) Principal Engineer (Road Safety) to join our team in the South West region. The Principle Road Safety Engineer will lead and coordinate the delivery of Road Safety Audits, Post Fatal Collision Reporting, Collision Analysis, identification of safety need and development of solutions to resolve identified safety issues.
At National Highways you will have the opportunity to make real change for the customers that use and live alongside England’s biggest road networks. You will support the delivery of the Safe Systems approach and work with internal and external stakeholders including Road Safety Partnerships to deliver interventions that will lead directly to a reduction in collisions.
You may be required to work unsociable hours as part of this role.
