Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:
Join the Safety Environment and Regulations Team at TfNSW that provide specialist technical advice in drafting Transport wide standards, setting standards documentation, advising on research, development activities, technical risk, asset management practices and assurance processes relating to assets., In addition you will contribute toward technical asset integrity, condition and resilience audits and assessments; provide asset management advice to client divisions and undertake necessary investigations; review, assess and report on network performance,; and development of effective and timely resolutions to issues.
As the Principal Engineer you will also assess and measure the performance of Technically Assured Organisations (TAOs), provide advice to TAOs and delivery partners as required, to assure services provided meet defined performance standards.
Your ability to lead and manage asset management activities in relation to the implementation of technical authority to enable services to be offered by TAOs in accordance with TfNSW and Asset Management Branch standards. A key part of the role is to monitor, audit and report on the performance of TAOs, identify performance concerns and recommend actions for improvement.
