In the Mix-Signal and Linear Division (MSLD) we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ADC/RF Validation Engineer to join our staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on validating the performance and reliability of analog-to-digital converters. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our ADC/RF products meet or exceed the rigorous standards required by our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed validation plans for new ADC/RF designs, including defining test requirements, creating test fixtures, and selecting appropriate equipment.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to understand ADC/RF architectures and identify critical performance parameters.
  • Perform bench-level testing and characterization of ADCs, analyzing performance across various operating conditions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug ADCs to identify root causes of failures and work with the design team to implement solutions.
  • Document validation results and provide comprehensive reports, including recommendations for product improvements.

    • Support the creation of datasheets and application notes by providing accurate performance data.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide validation perspectives to ensure product quality and reliability.

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ADC/RF technology trends, testing methodologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field and 10+ years of experience.
  • A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field and 7+ years of experience.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of hands-on experience in ADC/RF validation or a closely related field.
  • Hands on experience with low noise and high SNR products.
  • Strong understanding of ADC/RF architectures (SAR, Delta-Sigma, Pipeline, etc.) and their applications.
  • Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and automated test equipment.
  • Experience with scripting and automation of test processes (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
