As a Principal Environmental Consultant - Approvals, you will support the environment and society service line with delivering environmental assessments and studies on a variety of major projects including natural resources, chemicals and technology, renewable energy, and infrastructure. We are seeking a highly experienced environmental professional with diverse environmental approvals experience. This role will suit a person with strong communication skills and problem-solving ability, together with experience in the full-stage delivery of State and Commonwealth approvals and established relationships with regulatory authorities. Our team supports delivery of major and mid-level projects throughout project life, offers secondments to partner with our clients and completes packages of work from our offices.

We are looking for a Principal Environmental Consultant - Approvals to join our team in Perth.

The role responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality environment related approval documentation, primarily for onshore projects.
• Providing leadership on the selection, qualification and development of scopes of work, manage scope delivery and performance.
• Participation in, or facilitation of, State and Commonwealth government regulator meetings.
• Developing approval strategies for a variety of major projects and customers.
• Technical assistance in preparing detailed proposals to assist in securing a steady stream of approvals-based work.
• Input technically to early phase engineering projects, site selection studies, environment in design advice, environmental impact assessment and environmental risk identification.
