As a Principal Environmental Engineer, you will report to the Environmental Manager based in the UK and work closely with the Lead Environmental Engineer based in the UK.

We are looking for a Principal Environmental Engineer to join our team in Brisbane.

The role responsibilities include:

• Embedded into the project engineering team will act as an interface between Worley’s engineering design and Worley support to permitting.
• Having familiarised themselves with the project environmental permit conditions, constrains and controls will serve as the first port of call for the engineering teams in Australia for clarifications and question on daily basis.
• Participate in engineering review designs in Australia.
• Provide support to Worley permitting team by collecting and collating the right engineering documentation (drawings, reports, etc) required for the permitting purposes.
• Oversee compliance of the designs to commitments, constraints and controls.
• Where full compliance can’t be achieved impact on permit is flagged with the Lead Environmental Engineer and Environmental Manager.
