QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in fire protection engineering
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Principal Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the fire protection engineering team. You will oversee the design, development, and implementation of fire protection systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. You will also provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the fire protection engineering team, including mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Develop and implement fire protection strategies and designs for projects
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications
  • Manage project budgets and schedules
  • Participate in project meetings and presentations
