Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Leads the development of standards, processes, and technical identity controls for the organization. These controls are designed to prevent, detect, and contain identity threats; enabling Sanford to be productive while maintaining a secure environment that optimizes Sanford s return on investment. Responsibilities of the Principal Identity and Access Management System Engineer role may include:
Design, develop, and implement Identity and Access Management solutions, processes, and systems.
Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical Identity and Access Management solution, process, and system issues.
Improve Identity and Access Management solutions, processes, and systems for protection against evolving threats and efficiency.
Coach other members of the organization on the best practices that should be followed in Identity and Access Management.
Stay up-to-date on current identity threats and industry solutions.
Extensive hands-on knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices, procedures, and software solutions that support Identity Governance Administration (IGA).
Extensive knowledge and experience with identity and access management technologies; such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, privileged access management, role-based access control, and identity lifecycle toolsets.
Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, PowerShell scripting (or other automation), LDAP, Active Directory, SQL, and web services.
Facilitate the maintenance of existing identity systems including implementing new features, performing upgrades, and managing technical configurations/policies across a variety of business-critical systems. Provides expert level writing and maintenance of documentation that can be used by all team members and other employees.
Deliver identity consulting services to other Sanford health groups. Build and maintain key vendor and supplier relationships. Mentor others within the team on tools, processes, and the Sanford Health organization.
Works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth of knowledge of processes and organizational knowledge. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Regularly presented with new assignments and projects that require the application of independent judgement/interpretation of policies/practices. Checks own work and the work of other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor s degree in cyber security or an information technology related field
Minimum of 7 years experience working in Cyber Security field.
One or more security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security+, CEH, etc.) are required
