Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Information Data Architect to lead the delivery of cutting-edge data architecture services for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This unique position plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing data solutions that support our business objectives and enable efficient data management. As a technical specialist, you will promote the strategic use of information as an asset as well as undertake an operational role in enabling the practical use of data for analysis, reporting and decision support.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Work in partnership with business stakeholders to understand business needs, gather data requirements and develop an enterprise information model and standards.
  • Develop, transition and target data architectures to support the strategic objectives of SCHHS.
  • Provide consulting and advice to ICT initiatives and assist solution architects to develop and maintain the logical and physical data models to ensure alignment with the enterprise information model and standards.
  • Champion and promote appropriate protection of information assets that are created or used in ICT initiatives.
    Remuneration value up to $161,718 p.a., comprising salary between $132,072 - $141,738 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
