Description:
This role ensures QRA’s eDRMS and other information management systems are kept updated and secure with required patches and version updates through consultation with business owners, audit officers and colleagues as well as provide consultation and input to the development of QRA strategies for information management, security and privacy.
- Manage the development, implementation, and review of QRAs information management framework, policies and processes that manage information as an asset and support effective capture, access and disposal of records.
- Provide high quality advice to management, information custodians and staff on contemporary information management practices including records lifecycle, records management, and more specific complex and sensitive issues as they arise.
- Manage the delivery of an effective information management program, including the review of strategies for the continuous improvement of QRAs Information Management practices.
- Establish appropriate planning, monitoring, and reporting systems to effectively manage information management initiatives.
- Oversee the development and delivery of training sessions and communications to raise awareness and build capacity relating to information management and strategic recordkeeping.
- Manage the system administration, support and maintenance of the electronic document and records management system throughout QRA to agreed levels including regular analysis of performance to provide reports and advice to identify opportunities for improved performance, perform upgrades and patching as required.
- Respond to Queensland Audit office requests annually and implement recommendations.
- Coordinate and liaise with external stakeholders such as Queensland State Archives and the Office of the Information Commissioner regarding information management matters.
- Maintain an awareness of ongoing Information management, RTI, and IP changes, standards, practices and management trends.
- Provide responsive and proactive business support and implementation of solutions that support improvements in the delivery of business practices across QRA.
- Develop effective partnerships and networks that support the objectives of the team, including fostering productive working relationships with clients and stakeholders to develop practical, best fit solutions that address their information or privacy needs.
