Hi, my name is Rudolf and I’m a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2004 when I took a role as Senior Support System Engineer in the Wintel Team. In 2006 I moved to a role of Lead for Active Directory and Wintel team in EMEA region. Gaining more hands-on experience with hosting and Wintel I moved to the global Principal Architect role for Wintel Hosting in 2013 and worked on project focused on private and later public cloud. In 2018, I moved to a management role in a global Secure Public Cloud department, being Head of Cloud Architecture and Engineering and in 2022 became responsible for a joint Engineering and Run team in a role of Head of Cloud Infrastructure Services. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition – public cloud. Looking forward to having you onboard

• Being a DevOps Product Owner requires the Product Owner to think and act on Projects, changes, and the daily provision of the services to the customer.
• Serve with the product the related Customers who are the ultimate beneficiaries of the value of the Transport solutions created and maintained by the Global Transport Management Excellence (TCoE).
• Work with all stakeholders to define what value is and to ensure that the team adds value.
• Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones, and being accountable for them.
• Drive cultural change by promoting an agile mindset and ensure the organization is at the forefront of industry best practices.
• Coordinate hand-offs with other product teams in the TCoE
• Accountable for Customer Solution deployment on the Customer Facing Product.
• Prioritize work together with the Business Owner.
• Enable the team to deliver and avoid overload.
• Manage the backlog and prioritize work together with the Business Owner - ultimately responsible for the stories that are delivered in a sprint.
• Conduct Sprint reviews with the Customer.
• Resolve conflict and take related decisions in alignment with the Business Owner and Domain Owner.
• Be responsible for the Product Lifecycle and the Product Roadmap
• Making sure that the responsibilities are delivered in a DHL compliant fashion and are demonstrated in internal and external audits.
• Work closely with Domain Owner/s and Business Owners for right-sizing the Product Team.
• Bring the Product team to a next Maturity Level in autonomy (self-management, self-organization) and personal development of team members by focus on continuous improvement.
• Responsible to functionally lead the associates that work on the product and participate in the HR processes e.g., performance reviews, grading, etc.
• Solid understanding of Azure services such as Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Azure Active Directory, Terraform, etc.
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools and logging services within Azure.
• Following Security Guidelines/ Qualys vulnerability scanning as per existing schedule for all VMs.
• Manage DevOps Automations / Golden Image, Code, Pipeline & Repository management
