JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a Layout Designer responsible for the layout of RF and mixed signal integrated circuit components from schematics, diagrams or netlists utilizing commercial/standard bulk CMOS and SOI technologies in accordance with design rule. Preferred candidate will have an understanding of power/GND/ESD/analog placement and routing considerations. Responsible for taking the physical design from schematic through physical verification and tape-out in a timely manner with minimal assistance. Exposure to RF circuit and transmission line layouts is a plus.
As a skilled specialist in IC layout, candidate must have the ability to complete tasks in creative and effective ways, and work on assignments requiring considerable judgement and initiative. The candidate must also understand implications of the work and be able to make recommendations for solutions, methodologies, and procedures.

• Layout of RF and mixed-signal integrated circuit (IC) components from schematics, diagrams or netlists utilizing SOI, CMOS, RF CMOS and GaAs technologies in accordance with design rules.
• Directly interfacing with the IC design engineers to produce and optimize layouts for size and performance.
