This role is being offered on a fixed term 12-month contract for a parental leave coverage, Monday to Friday, located in our Singapore Office.
The Principal Market Analyst is required to analyse strategic market developments for relevant marketing sectors and develop strategic insights to influence the organization’s commercial decisions, providing support to the General Manager of Market Analysis.

Reporting to the Group Economist and Manager Commodity Analysis, key role accountabilities include:

• Conduct market analysis on drivers to develop long-term forecasts e.g. GDP, foreign exchange rate, interest rates risk outlook and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including front office and other Principal market analysts to form an aligned commodity market view and drive value in our commercial activities
• Engage with external stakeholders, including industry analysts, to deepen the market intelligence network and represent South32’s view.
