Due to our ongoing success we are rapidly growing and seek a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team, working on the design and development of cutting-edge hydropower and pumped storage hydro solutions.

You will join a growing team of mechanical and electrical engineers working closely with our multi-disciplinary teams. You will design, develop and support the testing of mechanical systems for hydropower and pumped storage hydro projects, including some or all of; turbines, pumps, generators and control systems.
As a Principal, you will take line management responsibility for some members of the team, support business growth and strategy development and be take ownership of project deliverables.
Your role on projects include traditional advisory, Owner’s Engineer, client facing concept design, contractor facing detailed design, remediation and troubleshooting, installation support and Lender’s engineer / insurance / due diligence support.
You will be responsible for working and liaising with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the projects and community. You will help lead the team, acting as a mentor or guide to less experienced members.
