Description:
Responsibilities:
This role is a permanent position on a Monday-to-Friday basis. This role will be based at our head office in Perth.
As Principal Mine Planning (Projects & Studies), your key responsibility will be the mine planning lead for Major Projects and Concept Studies identified through the Life of Operation Plan development path for South32 operations.
- Lead the delivery of the required mine planning deliverables for Major Projects and Concept Studies
- Provide input and revision to the project/studies charters and scoping documents to ensure that mine planning requirements are adequately scoped
- Determine mine planning scope and resourcing required for projects/studies and ensure mine planning assumptions and mine plans are aligned to internal mine planning processes and project/study governance framework and standards
- Manage project and study stakeholder relationships and applies appropriate identification and assessment of risks related to mine planning within the project/study
