We are looking to recruit an experienced Principal Project Manager to join our Project Management Office based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for reliably demonstrating highly effective and efficient project execution. Projects and portfolios are managed at an extremely advanced level with excellent business acumen. You will act as a role model of Project Management excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to all Project Managers and represent an escalation path for project issues for all project teams in the organization.
  • Strategically oversee global project management capabilities by:
  • developing and implementing global best practices and systems with a view to driving continuous improvement of Fugro project management,
  • developing and supporting a project management competency and career path framework, including identification of training.

What Skills & Experience Will You Have?

  • 10 + years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • Previous experience of QHSSE Management System and QHSSE programmes.
  • Previous experience and expert knowledge in the below:
  • Project Governance
  • Risk & Issue Management
  • Budget & Financial Control
  • Planning & Schedule Management
  • Contract Management
  • Change Control
  • Knowledge of Autocad is a must
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • An Arabic speaker would be an advantage
  • Communication skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Time management skills
  • Team leading
  • Risk management

Education

  • BSC. Engineering

License/ certification/ qualification

  • PMP (Project Management Professional – USA) or APM (Associate Project Management – UK) certification
  • Formal qualification in Safety discipline or adequate experience in Safety field e.g. NEBOSH (International) Diploma, or equivalent.
