Description:

The role
Reporting directly to the Director, Executive Service and Governance in the Office of the Deputy Director-General, the Principal Project Officer leads the promotion of corporate initiatives and ICT projects internally within the division and across key stakeholder groups.

  • Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and manage the delivery of numerous competing priorities.
  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in a communication and/or project management context.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills within a communications environment, including the ability to effectively coach and mentor staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute to the positive culture of a team with a track record of maintaining a customer service mentality and supporting all colleagues to succeed.
