Responsibilities

• Analyse system level requirements and derive circuit concepts meeting them. Develop block level specifications and test requirements.
• Development and design of integrated high frequency circuits in the field of radar technology
• Especially the development and design of circuits operating at the following ranges: 24 GHz, 60 GHz, and 120 GHz
• Collaborate with other design teams including system, application, software, RF lab and ATE
• Manage junior staff and lead technical activities
• Perform or assist characterization and debug of designed circuits in RF lab

• Engineering Master’s degree in an electronic or microelectronic field with 5+ years of industrial experience designing RF/mmWave ICs required
• PhD would be an advantage
• Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the design of integrated circuits in silicon-based technologies, especially for RF integrated circuits at frequencies above 10 GHz
• Demonstrated experience designing mmWave circuits including amplifiers, PAs, phase rotators, splitter/combiners, LNAs, frequency multipliers etc.
• Knowledge of CMOS and Bi-CMOS silicon process technologies involving automotive specifications
• Strong knowledge of transistor-level analog and RF circuit simulation, layout design, and verification tools such as Cadence, EMX, RFpro, PathWave, HFSS, CST
• Highly familiar with measurement setups and characterization of RF components (e.g., VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator)
• Outstanding communication, team and leadership skills
• Business-fluent English is required, German language skills are a plus
