Principal / Senior Electrical Engineer

The Company
This Adelaide based, reputable engineering firm has been a high level service provider for over 40 years. They design, develop, plan and project manage a variety of solutions for their clients in the resources, mining, oil & gas sectors nationwide. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Principal / Senior Electrical Engineer with complete project life cycle experience from detail design through project engineering, construction and commissioning and a background in the Australian water, mining, oil & gas sectors.
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be working as the Senior member in the team on a range of projects designing new and improving existing systems with multiple clients. You will be in direct communication and consultation with clients to understand scope, troubleshoot potential issues and take the lead on designing and developing solutions for their needs. We are looking for those who have a passion to see projects through the design and construct phases, have strong technical expertise and the ability to lead and assist others at all levels.

Qualification, Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor or higher of relevant Electrical Engineering
• Strong technical expertise / Subject Matter Expert (SME) in field
• Experience working fluidly at a high level of project delivery across multiple industries simultaneously
• High level communication / people skills, able to build rapport and lead others
• Design through Commissioning experience in Australian water, mining or oil & gas sectors
• Experience working on projects with SA Water, BHP, Santos or Beach Energy advantageous
• Able to communicate and liaise with clients and stakeholders across all levels
• Be re/located in Adelaide with unrestricted Australian working rights
