Responsibilities:
- Lead projects/investigations to model and simulate power system behaviour ensuring network capacity & performance meet standards
- Assess the impact of renewable energy integration on network performance, limitations, security and development of the network;
- Make recommendations on the connection of Pumped Hydro and Synchronous Condensers to the network
- Assessing new and modified generating systems and inverter based load for compliance with NER performance standards and modelling requirements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Engineers and Development Engineers
