In the Azure Core team, we focus on building solutions that drive efficiencies in our backend development processes for the Azure Cloud. As a Principal Software Engineer in Azure Core, you will be building top-notch quality solutions in Azure, and will need to think outside to box to help our service teams assess risk in Pull Requests and deployments, as well as build tools to bring these assessments the right stakeholders across Azure. By leveraging existing backend solutions and building out new AI capabilities, you will find ways to improve quality in a much greater way than was ever possible in the past. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years working with RESTful Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), services and cloud development
• 2+ years of experience in using at least one common database technology such as SQL Database, MySQL, Postgres or similar
• 1+ years working with building solutions in Azure or similar clouds

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• OR equivalent experience.
• Any experience in AI technologies like OpenAI / GPT / LLMs
• 3+ years working with any Azure Cloud Services
