What you will do:
- Collaborate with AI/ML upstream communities to ensure compatibility with OpenShift, evaluate new technologies from partners, and create integration examples with RHOAI
- Integrate new open source AI/ML components into Red Hat OpenShift AI
- Present at OpenShift/Kubernetes, and AI/ML related technology conferences and internally within the AI/ML communities of practice
- Own design reviews and automated testing for major product features and bug fixes. You’ll be responsible for developing test strategies and frameworks, designing and implementing automated tests, creating and carrying out test plans, researching new features, developing automated tests, and maintaining and enhancing test frameworks.
- Serve as an internal advocate for our customers, providing data-driven product quality metrics to all major stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of the Open Data Hub open source project and Red Hat Openshift AI family of products.
- Utilize strong communication skills for cross-company collaboration, engaging with Red Hat engineers, product managers, consultants, and global management teams
What you will bring:
- Experience with AI and Machine Learning platforms such as Kubeflow, Tensorflow or PyTorch
- 7+ years of software quality engineering experience including test automation using object-oriented languages; Python and Golang are preferred
- Extensive experience managing Linux-based systems in a production environment
- Demonstrated expertise in container-related technologies like Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Jenkins or other batch management tools, including the creation of pipelines and the ability to troubleshoot tests using log analysis
- Strong understanding of automated testing at both the API and UI frontend levels
- Proficient in version control systems such as Git
Nice to Haves:
- Experience creating Ansible automation scripts
- Experience with big data storage techniques such as Parquet, Avro, and S3
- Experience with the Robot test framework.
- Understanding of DevOps methodology
The salary range for this position is $127,840 - $169,535. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
