Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Systemic Psychotherapist to join the leadership team at Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service, and work alongside Psychiatry, Nursing, Psychology, OT, and Lived Experience Practitioner colleagues to deliver service excellence.
The postholder will be the lead Systemic Psychotherapist for our all-age eating disorder service and will provide strategic leadership and vision for the development of systemic interventions within the service. In addition to direct clinical work you will supervise and develop our team of systemic psychotherapists, contribute to the teaching and training of others, and help promote systemic thinking within our organisation.
The ideal candidate has all-age skills as applicable to eating disorder treatment, including a knowledge of Family-Based Treatment for young people with eating disorders.   • To work with the Eating Disorder Leads on behalf of the discipline as the Lead Family & Systemic Psychotherapist in the all age Eating Disorder Service
  • To provide highly specialist systemic psychotherapy with clinical autonomy and to work in ways which are sensitive to the needs of families from a wide range of racial, cultural and religious backgrounds, and to support others to do the same.
  • To ensure that effective systems are in place for the supervision, teaching, consultation, support and clinical governance of systemic family therapy work within the service
  • To work jointly and collaboratively with other team members in order to enhance and develop work with families by providing highly specialist systemic knowledge and skills.
