Description:
Wood is recruiting a Principal Technical Safety Engineer with relevant design expertise in Brownfields Oil & Gas projects to join our global Operations business. This engagement is a permanent opportunity to support the expansion of the Operations business.

Reporting to the Technical Safety Engineering Discipline Manager and Project Engineering Manager, you will step into a dedicated project team. You will balance technical leadership between your team and the client, across offshore gas and condensate production facilities and thrive on the challenge of:
- Working across a range of engineering projects at any phase including: - concept identification, selection and definition, FEED, detailed design/execute, commissioning and start-up, as-building, and closeout, for timely delivery according to approved schedules.
- Setting clear technical direction for any assigned direct reports on the project, including weekly goals for each member of the team.
- Defining and applying safety engineering principles to the design / modification of petroleum production/processing facilities, as per client requests.
- Representing the Technical Safety discipline in design reviews, HAZOPs, HazIDs and LOPA and have the capability to facilitate such reviews.
