TITLE:

We leverage digital innovation and advanced technologies to provide optimal solutions. Our team is integral to our success, and you will play a pivotal role in contributing to our business achievements. We believe in empowering our employees, fostering development within a culture of trust. We seek individuals willing to seize opportunities, encouraging and empowering them to work in a manner that suits their style.
KBR’s Water Resources team operates within a high-functioning engineering-focused setting and finds practical, cost-effective, and innovative solutions to the environmental and social issues. Our team of engineers, planners, water resource specialists, and community engagement practitioners are experienced in delivering floodplain management, wetland design and drainage design projects throughout Victoria and Australia.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Wetland Designer to join KBR’s Water Resources team in Melbourne. With recent project wins involving existing wetland rehabilitation, this role offers exposure to major multidisciplinary projects with a large network of clients, stakeholders and skilled professionals. Our multidisciplinary team means we are able to apply a wholistic and integrated approach to engineering solutions, bringing together talented ecologists, water resources engineers, and civil engineers with considerable construction experience. Make a meaningful impact on these projects by steering technical direction; identifying and mitigating risk; and driving innovative solutions on wetland projects, from concept design through to detailed design and construction.
You will collaborate with a national team of Water Resources practitioners, bringing you access to a national pool of project options within a variety of industries and available roles including managing projects and work-winning activities.

WHO WE ARE:

KBR’s Water Resources team has over 30 years demonstrated expertise in flooding and drainage, water supply and management, catchment management, environmental sustainability, and climate change adaptation in Australia and internationally. We have considerable experience in the application of lot to catchment scale hydrology models and one and two dimensional hydraulic models to assist with the planning, design, and management of major infrastructure. Our team works closely with other groups within the company to achieve an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to water resources projects. We have a proven job management system and accountability through robust quality assurance plans.
