ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re seeking a dynamic Principal Workforce Planner to lead strategic initiatives in identifying and addressing the evolving needs of our state’s workforce. In this critical role, you’ll collaborate with industry, government, and education stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that drive economic growth and prosperity. From analysing current challenges to forecasting future demands, you’ll play a central role in shaping workforce capability across sectors.

To apply and succeed in the role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading strategic workforce planning initiatives, including the identification of current and future workforce needs. Proven ability to develop comprehensive workforce development strategies aligned with organisational goals and industry demands.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry economic dynamics and workforce trends. Ability to interpret market data and industry insights to inform workforce planning decisions and anticipate future skills requirements.
  • Proven ability to draw on evidence and interpret analysis to provide informed advice and recommendations for workforce development solutions. Experience in analysing workforce data, identifying patterns, and translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong proficiency in utilising best practice project management techniques and methodologies. Track record of successfully managing complex project from initiation to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives
