Description:

The post holder will be the lead Clinical Psychologist and member of the multidisciplinary team within the Pain Service at Royal Berkshire Hospital Foundation Trust and the wider pain pathway . They will also be the lead Clinical Psychologist for the ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust . Contributing to scoping options for developing other services within long term conditions.

Responsibilities:

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE TO PROVIDE: -

Advice and consultation on patients’ psychological care to other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically and physically based care and treatment.
Line management and clinical supervision to both qualified and unqualified psychologists working within the team.
Lead on service delivery, service planning and care pathways

THE “MUST HAVES” FOR YOU TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE:

Professional qualification in clinical or counselling psychology.
Experience of specialist assessment and formulation and treatment of adults in inpatient and/ or community settings.
Experience of liaising with clinical and management colleagues around service improvement in a relevant area
